Prerequisites
• Strong computer skills
• Writing proficiency
• Some knowledge of computer graphic programs
Certification Requirements
Students must take a total of 90 hours of classes to qualify
for the certificate. All 90 hours must be taken at BCC
and must include:
• 60 hours of core courses from the classes listed
below
• 30 hours of electives from technical communication
or computer courses
• A portfolio, which will be developed as part of
the program.
