Steps to Complete the Program

  • Determine the courses that you would like to take using the curriculum suggestions below.
  • Sign up for classes according to your curriculum plan.
  • Collect your certificate from the instructor upon successful completion of each of your classes.

Course Scheduling Suggestions

The Human Resources Today class is the introduction to all others and should be the first class that you take in this program. This class offers a comprehensive overview of HR and is a prerequisite for all other classes. You may take any of the following core courses concurrently: Recruiting and Retaining a Talented Workforce, Navigating the Confusing Waters of Employment Law, Compensation Basics, HR Systems and Metrics and Benefits I: Understanding the Challenging World of Benefits. HR Case Studies: Pulling it all Together should be taken as your last core class.

It is recommended that the core courses be taken in the sequence above. Other than these prerequisites, courses and electives may be taken in any desired sequence.
